How it works
Hook Yeah lets you mark the most compelling segment of a
song — the hook — so you can jump straight to it and loop it
as many times as you like. Search for any song in your Apple
Music library, set a start and end point, choose a repeat
count, and save. Your hooks sync across your devices via
iCloud.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need an Apple Music subscription?
-
Yes. Hook Yeah plays tracks through Apple Music, so
an active Apple Music subscription is required to
save and play hooks.
-
My hooks aren't syncing across devices. What should
I check?
-
Make sure iCloud is enabled on both devices and that
you are signed in to the same Apple ID. You can
check this under Settings → [your name] → iCloud on
each device.
- I deleted the app. Are my hooks gone?
-
Hooks are stored in iCloud, so they will reappear if
you reinstall the app and iCloud sync is enabled. If
you want to clear your hooks entirely, delete them
from within the app before uninstalling, or clear
the app's iCloud data via Settings → [your name] →
iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
- A song I searched for isn't showing up. Why?
-
Hook Yeah searches the Apple Music catalogue. If a
track isn't available in Apple Music in your region,
it won't appear in search results.
- How do I delete a hook?
-
Swipe left on any hook in the list to reveal the
delete option.
